Bass Lake Ranch is situated about 10 miles west of the city of Lindale, Texas; about 90 minutes east of Dallas, Texas, easily accessed by Interstate 20 or by our private airstrip.

Because it is situated in Northeast Texas, weather year-round in relatively mild.

Garden Valley Resort, adjacent to Bass Lake, is consistently rated in the ten best golf courses in Texas.

Other facilities available are: the 8-acre Bass Lake stocked with Bass, Catfish, and Bream, a Community Center, Lakeside lots for cabins, half-acre lots for mobile homes and “double-wides”, and a 2900 ft. air strip.

Future plans include: a Prayer Chapel, Walking Trails, Gazebo in the woods, and another Activity Center and Storm Shelter. .

Bass Lake Ranch is composed of two entities registered as non-profit organizations dedicated to the education, encouragement, motivation, and development of Christian people - based on the concepts of "Caring and Sharing" - in accordance with Ephesians 4:12:

"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ",

and to provide a quality facility for carrying out such purposes.

The development of Bass Lake Ranch is the outcome of a vision given to Bill Taylor some 40 years ago. Of special interest in the past ten or so years has been the rapid development of the

Bass Lake Christian Retirement Community,

where semi-retired and retired Christian couples, who have or have had RV-related ministries, now find a place of refuge from their travels, even a permanent home, in a Christian community.
